We were there from our home in Scotland to view a property on the coast. Even though the trip was very focused, we saw beautiful scenery and had a great dinner. Love Dungloe, We dined at the Waterfront Hotel, just five minutes drive from the cottage. The food was excellent, the only thing we noticed was that the hotel was very understaffed, but 100% of all the staff on duty worked way beyond what should be required of them under normal circumstances. Dungloe is a very easy town to navigate and is very well signposted from the approaching directions and the Town is very well sigh posted to enable uninterrupted navigation, The shore walk and the River walk are excellent. Good location to explore Donegal. Small town friendly locals few places to eat eg; Mccafferty pub spacious good outdoor space good pub grub. Some great walking trails and great view of Dungloe bay limited things for kids not many shops or cafesGuest review byEvelynIreland

Susie was welcoming and had even supplied a full breakfast in the fridge. The house overlooked the bay and pier while also being central in the town of Dungloe.
