Ros Dun is a lovely BnB in a quiet neighborhood just a block up from Donegal's main square. Great sized room, excellent Irish decor, quiet, contemporary bathroom, strong Wifi -- the whole package The breakfast was one of the best I've seen with lots of choices for pastries, cerial, yogurt and traditional Irish breakfast cooked to order by the owner. The owner is also super knowledgeable about stuff to see throughout the county and was a great help.

Beautiful little flatlet in a quiet area, with everything you need and more!! Washing machine was a great bonus for us being on a road trip with limited luggage. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was like a little home away from home. Loved it!!! Will surely book again.

    Mount charles suited our group as a base, 10 mins to donegal...

    Mount charles suited our group as a base, 10 mins to donegal 20 mins to killibegs 30 mins to ballyshannon&35 mins to bundoran so it was within easy reach to all the towns, we went to castle open farm to feed and drive the digger we went on the riverboat around donegal Bay then, went th killibegs to see the fishing vessels, then, rossnowlough, beach which was beautiful, and had a drive to lough derg that was lovely,

    The property was not in the heart of Mountcharles and a walk...

    The property was not in the heart of Mountcharles and a walk into it would have meant a considerable climb back. We drove through Mountcharles and were surprised how spread out it was. We chose it for the location as we were exploring Donegal and Sligo. There is no sandy beach as far as we could tell.
