A perfect stay at a resort with access to expansive free movement areas including riverside and the beach connected to Arabian sea. Saw some stunning sunset, variety of flora and fauna a treat to our eyes and enriching our experience. The food tasted very good too. There are even more facilities that we did not even try on this visit and probably would try another time.

River View Homestay is a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying in this River Front house. It is a traditional old Kerala style tiled house overlooking the beautiful river. The location is unbeatable with a beautiful view of Chithari river, surrounded with mangrove forests and coconut trees in a peaceful village. This place is very well maintained and breeze all time to house. Kitchen is available with cooking gas, stove with all utensils. We cooked food for 2 days and it was good experience. Owner gave the full itinerary to visit nearby places and we watched theyyam, Visited Bekal Fort, Red moon beach and Fishing in the river was the best experiences we had. This is very budget level homestay in entire Kasaragod. We stayed 2 nights and had almost relaxing trip. The warmth and hospitality was really something we are looking forward to visiting again. (~_*)

    Taj Hospitality needs no introduction. Just out of the world. Albin, Sujay, Jason, Tanuja and many others just made our stay comfortable and so homely. The room was so pretty and the spa made me feel so comfortable, that I have no words to describe it. The restaurant By the Bay is a must visit. The property with its lovely confidence of backwaters and the sea presents such a unique sight. The cycling ride around Bekal was superb.

    the location! it’s fantastic! only a state-run body can pull off such a location. (shrigo has taken the place on a long term lease is what we understood). it’s proximity to the bekal fort and the national highway was awesome for public transport users like us. there are good restaurants in close vicinity. we walked to Apple (towards north) and Sinan (towards south) for our food requirements.

    The location was just perfect for us as we were 3 girls travelling. It was a 10 min walk to the Red moon beach and 2 mins from Bekal Fort. Multiple restaurants near the stay so we could order food easily.
