What else can we say ? It was perfect... The room was amazing and Stains and his wife and daughter were so friendly... Very thoughtful in every detail. We felt like we were at home. The breakfast was excellent. Various and tasty. Thank you again for everything! The nearest beaches are 20 min walk away. The area is just so lovely to walk around.

Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and the service was amazing. Proactive follow ups and the hosts were genuinely caring. We checked in very late in the night but the hosts were very cooperative and stayed up late to welcome our family. They also woke up early in the morning to attend to our needs. Rooms were very big, clean and had all the necessary amenities. One small feedback would be to improve the WiFi and upgrade the plug points in the room for international guests. I wish Deepu and Anu all the best. I’m sure they will continue to do a bang up job in welcoming thousands of more guests in the coming future.

"I had an amazing stay here! The location was perfect, being just a stone's throw away from the beautiful beach. The accommodation truly felt like a home away from home. What made our stay even more special was the warm hospitality of the family who shared the place with us. They welcomed us with open arms and treated us like one of their own. This place is perfectly located next to the backwaters and the beach. Great property to live in and relax at the balcony or the terrace of the property overlooking the backwaters. The property is also managed very well and Mr. Lalu handled everything from the check in to explaining us everything about the property and areas surrounding it very well. The property is very well maintained like a five star property and our stay with old parents and a 4 year old was perfect! The breakfast served at the property was homely, fulfilling and exceptional. Great option to stay in if you visit Cherai beach.

Wonderful place, a real paradise! Vala House is one of the best places I have ever stayed. They have only 4 beautiful rooms with backwater view and a wonderful terrace. So relaxing. Wonderful breakfast, they serve you even the dinner you can order in a nearby superb restaurant (Liliput). Extremely nice staff, they organize everything for you. Somebody of them (unfortunately I do not remember his name, he was so nice!) came with me to the nearby so interesting fish harbour. I can only recommend, much better than every 5 star hotel

Location was near to the beach and a few restaurants and cafes. The hotel was a newish building, it was clean, spacious and everything worked. Room cleaning was available every day. It had a pool, which we regularly used. Staff were lovely. Restaurant food was really nice. The room had a safe. Shower was good. It had two comfortable armchairs in the room. You can book transport via the front desk. It had a car park.

    A beautiful property.

    A beautiful property. Only one thing that annoyed me was a bar lounge was on the premises ground and drunkards were loitering around. Secondly, there is an open ground on the side of the approach road where people were often found peeing, and throwing wastes. A humble suggestion to take care of both the above. All other things are really fine
