    Google maps disguised us and I was almost lost but some how I managed to reach there after that I was surprised that there was nothing much to enjoy food was miserable everywhere I taste from 3star to two star . Visit on your own risk .... chamoli is better in tourism from teheri

    India's largest dam and 2nd largest in its category in the...

    India's largest dam and 2nd largest in its category in the world is a must see. Very accessible by excellent roads. around 2-2.5 hours from Rishikesh. Places to stay are rather limited but not much tourist when we visited in March 2021. In the same vein, places to eat are also limited. Tehri town near the dam wall has a few options which are decent. Kalafi is a local dish worth trying, its made of green leaves and has a peculiar taste, very likeable.
