Getting pure vegetarian fare was a bit difficult, we disocvered. The complimentary break fast in the hotel saved us !! Local visits to the Kanakadurga temple, Bhavani Island were enjoyable. Vijayawada is a great city of cleanliness, even though too much crowded I got an opportunity to visit Durga Devi temple and Dhashavathara temple and had a stay at Hotel Aira, which was a very decent stay and Minerva Grande has very nice food.
