It was an amazing stay. The location was perfect, really secluded village on the hill top. The apartment itself was brand new with good layout. The stuff was helpful, we were late quite much and the women at the reception waited for us without any additional charge. Really recommend and hope we will be able to get back there some day.

La Pace is a beautiful hotel, its the 2nd time I have stayed there. Beautiful clean rooms, the breakfast was amazing, the swimming pool was fantastic. Asciano is my 2nd home and I love everything about it. Oh and the staff were awesome, wonderful people. ❤️

What a lovely place to stay! A real sense of welcome; Fabio is always welcoming and helpful, and there is a feeling of being genuinely cared for. We had six nights here in late September - outside the main season but still warm enough to swim in the pool and - apart from one very wet night - to have dinner on the terrace with views of the countryside and the glorious sunsets. We were in the 'Blu' apartment (two bedrooms), which is upstairs and has a small balcony - big enough for two to have breakfast on. If you're looking for a modern hotel-style standard room this isn't it - but if you want somewhere comfortable, homely and spotlessly clean, with a definite charm, then it's lovely. Just one note for the English: there's no electric kettle - but you can boil water for tea on the stove. Dinner was available every night, and we took full advantage of it. The food is excellent, home-cooked and Tuscan - and very reasonably priced; the menu changes gradually day to day. The house wine complements the food well; if you can't finish a bottle one night it's there for you again the next; and if you order by the glass, the glasses are large! And for dessert, don't miss the Tiramisu, or the Cantucci e Vin Santo! Asciano is worth wandering through - there's a car park on the road in and a tourist info point and museum just up from the ancient gate near that carpark. The museum is worth a visit - it's spread over several floors. The tourist office can give you a map of Asciano with points of interest marked. We also visited Montalcino, Montepulciano, and the Abbazia di Monte Oliveto Maggiore, all within very easy travelling distance. We'd come from Siena, but if you haven't been there, it's also easy to get to. We're hoping to be back again another year!

We had the most fabulous stay. The property and views were just breathtaking. Georgio was an amazing and most welcoming host. He took so much time settling us in and we loved his telling of the history of the property and Siena. He gave us some great recommendations. We wished we had booked in to stay longer. We stayed with our two children, and the house was very spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. It was easy to reach, had parking, and a small yard. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it suitable for long-term stays. There are hiking opportunities in the area, and a store is conveniently accessible. We will definitely return.

    The hospitality of the hostess was excellent! What a nice sweet lady: always happy to help out with anything and everything. Despite the language barrier, we always managed to fully understand each other. The logge is smack in the middle of the amazing crete senesi, nicely and quietly located between Siena and asciano. The wildlife is also abundant with foxes, many many butterflies, large flocks of bee eaters, nocturnal toads making buzzer like sounds, and praying mantas to name a few of my sightings.

    Superb place with excellent location, great apartments with everything you need. Quiet surroundings, beautiful views, great pool and a lot of facitlities and attracions for kids and not only. Great location, near small city Asciano with shops and restaurants. Also good starting point for visiting Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano and other gems of Tuscany. Helpful hosts:) Grazie Francesco :) It was an amazing stay! Highly reccomend!

    Fabio and Maria were wonderful hosts. Their service was exceptional. They offered us a meal even when we arrived late. Their food was delicious and plentiful. They were so friendly throughout. They recommended bike hire in Asciano which worked out really well. The room was huge and incredibly clean. The view from our terrace of Tuscan hills will live with us. We highly recommend!!

    The place itself, the villa, the cleanliness, the staff, the restaurant - everything was great. The views were beautiful. A small note about the breakfasts. The breakfasts should either be a bit cheaper or at least include some vegetables, which Italy is famous for: some tomatoes, for example. But the scrambled eggs were very tasty.
