Bellagio is just so nice. The jewel in the crown. Busy during the day but better in the evening. Saying that, you can still get around. It’s charming, clean and plenty of shops restaurants. Bellagio is the most beautiful town on Lake Como! Many great restaurants and shopping. Great views of the lake. Ferry terminal that provides easy access to Ferry system. Now, having said that, the town is relatively small, so 2-3 days in Bellagio would be enough to explore just this town. If you are planning on exlporing the other towns on the Lake ( which you absolutely sbould do) Bellagio is a great "center" for that activity and then you should extend to 4-5 days. Best restaurants we visited, Gioia in the Hotel Du Lac..Suisse right on the main plaza, the restuarant in the Grand Hotel Belloni right in town ( check spelling) and Punta, with view of the lake.Guest review byRichardUnited States - 10.0

A very beautiful place, beautiful shops and eating houses, the Lido is a great place for sunbathing and a lunch time meal. The ferry was very useful in getting around, and the staff were all very helpful with understanding the routes and times. Bellano was a hidden gem to visit with the waterfalls but the castle was a very steep trek that we didn’t find to be worth it at the end. Most restaurants close on either Tuesday or Wednesday so look up online incase there’s any you particularly want to eat at as we missed out on a couple. This is also the same for tourist attractions such as the villas. Coming from the UK we assumed everywhere touristy would be open 7 days a week but not in Italy. There is lots to do but just make sure you’re aware of the ferry times/train times so you don’t get stuck somewhere you don’t want to.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

Bellagio was very pretty but the apartment with wonderful Italy or booking.com should not be used. BEWARE of these companies as we had young kids with us and spent over an hour wandering around not able to find the location. I am sorry but watch the video that does not give detailed info on location is not helpful. Also private parking appartently is only valid if there are spaces open as it was a public parking area and when we were there no spaces to be had. We had to pay for parking on top of the apartment fee and we couldn't even access the apartment as they did not send over the information as promisedGuest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Bellagio is a beautiful place, though it can be quite busy and crowded. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by an unpleasant encounter with a policewoman who was not friendly at all. We had just arrived and accidentally parked in a residential parking area. Despite our attempt to explain the mistake and our immediate departure, she issued us a ticket. You have a top Gelato spot right at your door step. The host was very friendly and was always willing to help and reply quickly to messages. We were really surprised to have our own sitting room, private kitchen and a balcony with a nice view. The host kindly provided us with everything we need for our stay. When we arrived we were given a drink and lovely snack, which was very unexpected and generous. The B&B itself is nice, with great views over lake como. Our room had everything we needed and was cleaned daily. Breakfast was a highlight and went well above our expectations.
