Brindisi is a good place to stay.
Brindisi is a good place to stay. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants and the waterside is very pleasant. It is an ideal base to explore Puglia as the transport links are good. Brindisi is a small city but with a beautiful waterfront. There is not that much to do there and a three day visit is probably enough. We took the train to Lecce which is a forty minute journey and enjoyed that but were glad to return to Brindisi and its waterfront. We found Betty's restaurant at the waterfront which had a good menu and provided excellent food at a reasonable price. Well worth a visit. Brindisi is a lovely seaside town - it's not full of tourists and has a nice feel to it. There are many restaurants with good local food. Brindisi is a beautiful unspoiled place the language barrier was a little bit of a problem but you can get by with Google translate. The area around like Monopoli , Ostuni & Lecce are well worth a visit and the train service is excellent. Food and wine are very good and very reasonable.Guest review bylisaIreland

For us it is definitely a nice and new kind of experience. I will also say whatever complaint you might have about the property itself, the host makes up for it a thousand times. He was extremely helpful and friendly, had recommendations for everything from beaches to restaurants, to how to get around. He also invited us for a glass of wine to his gift shop next to the property which was very nice.
