There was a really nice broadwalk down next the beach, lot of restaruants, but there were not too many tourists as in bigger places e.g. like Stresa, so it was really good for the evening. Feriolo is on the shore of the beautiful Lago Maggiore and surrounded by magnificent mountains, It has several very good restaurants and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. There are places of interest within easy driving distances including beautiful botanic gardens and the town of Stresa and boat trips to several interesting islands. The village and surroundings are hilly, parking is restrictive and in these respects may not be suitable for the very elderly and infirm.Guest review byWilliamUnited Kingdom
