Our primary reason for visiting Lanciano was to see the Church of the Eucharistic Miracle. The front entrance to the church was a bit hard to discern, but once inside it's easy to find things. The area around the church has some pretty older buildings and is nice to walk around. It was a relaxing visit for us, and the people were friendly. We loved the old architecture, buildings and laneways. Elisa met us and walked us to the B&B which is beautifully renovated. It was like walking into a brand new apartment and we were the very first to stay there! Everything is immaculate and very comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring Abruzzo as you are 20 minutes from the sea and 25 minutes from the mountains, Maiella National park.
