The staff was very helpful. We were only hosts there but everything was perfect. Including breakfest. Parking close to apartment. Apartment was clean and servis with clean towel every day. Perfect!

This is a wonderful apartment. It would be more correct to say that it is a part of the house. A great place to feel how the locals live. In life, everything is much better than in the photos. There is all the equipment (even an air grill and a dryer), there is a small garden inside the house. All the furniture, dishes and equipment are new or in very good condition. You can park your car for free near the house. The owners are a family. On the day of our arrival, they gave us a local fruit - a huge sweet Sicilian lemon. They are very kind, ready to help with any questions. Every morning they brought us breakfast. In addition to breakfast, there was a small additional treat - marzipan or chocolates. The hostess asked what we wanted to see and tried to help with any questions. It seemed that we were not tourists, but relatives of the owners who came to visit them. The town is very quiet, the sea is close, it is very convenient to get to Catania, Taormina, the outlet or the volcano Etna. The hosts are friendly to guests. Our dog was given a special bed, which he really liked. We subsequently had to buy one for our house. If we had to go to Sicily again, we would choose to stay in this house.

Excellent location - immediately in front of the sea. Awesome view to Etna volcano from the back terrace. The appartment is very spacious and bright. All the necessary amentities provided, including capsule coffee machine and welcome snacks. Gated private parking for the car. Special note about the excellent hosts! Very responsive to any requests, very friendly. Our dog has escaped from the appartment one day and got lost. They went out of their way and helped us to locate the dog in one of the shelters and next day helped us to deal with police to draft a report and collect our beloved pet from the shelter.

    This is a nice hotel with very friendly staff but located in a residential area that had seen better days. All the beaches had volcanic sand which isn't pleasant to walk on or lay on. The sea was quite rough and you would have to be a very confident swimmer to enter the water.

    We were in Fondachello and we really enjoyed restaurants...

    We were in Fondachello and we really enjoyed restaurants bars and the beach. However, the place is not really looked after very well by the local council. It is a shame as it has great potentials to become a top tourist spot

    Our hotel was placed in between Mascali and Riposto.

    Our hotel was placed in between Mascali and Riposto. We never went to Mascali but to Riposto. It’s old and run down. Whole town appears to close for siesta - check times before visiting. There is a faded charm to the town and a good long beach with some decent restaurants. Amazing views of Etna - it’s so close we had ash settle on our clothes while sitting outside.

    A dead town without taxis, without shops.

    A dead town without taxis, without shops. Only two small mini markets, everything else closed (pharmacy, butcher). The city is probably only for summer guests. But the sea is beautiful and clean. Great LIDO PALM BEACH that I recommend.

    The hospitality of the owners and the great friendliness of the staff, and the delicious food in the restaurant. During our stay, the train was on strike, so the hotel owner drove us to Taormina in his car. I recommend this property for the views, the food, and the kindness of the staff.

    The grounds of the hotel are lush. Beautiful swimming pool and pool area. Excellent location across the road from the beach. Lovely lido too. Food was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. Place is impeccably clean. Comfy beds.

    Kind and attentive hosts, fully equipped apartment - everything from the description, plus tea, coffee, spices in the kitchen, closed parking. Mascali is a great starting point for exploring the eastern coast of Sicily.
