Ca Pinotta is a lovely BandB located in a small lovely village high in the hills above L Magiore. The room and facilities were very good. The mother and daughter hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and there is on site parking. The location is away from the bustle and traffic of being alongside the Lake, but close enough to visit by car.

Amazing location, right at the Orta Lake! Fantastic dinner, breakfast in the restaurant of the hotel. Top quality service!! The owner was always present and very-very service-orientated and generous with the guests. This will be certainly our regular place from now on. Casa Camilla exceeded our expectations from the beginning on. Beautiful design, a lovely room, great breakfast and amazing staff! The breakfast is getting served and even though a buffet would offer more choice, you get what you need and this is more than enough. The small team was very nice and I would like to mention Monica and Ivan who made our stay unforgettable. Grazie per la splendida vacanza!

The front desk staff were exceptional. I counted at least 4 languages spoken with ease. The one young blonde front desk lady was very good at answering questions and explaining the advantages of the region. Every staff member encountered were polite with strong customer service skills - from front desk to dining room to housekeeping to maintenance. The Maître d’ was very accommodating to guests yet the dining room was run with precision. The room had an outstanding view of the lake and the mountains. What a pleasure it was to wake up to that every morning. The breakfast was varied from hot to cold fare and every guest I saw left with smiles on their faces. The test of any hotel is if guests would want to return. This guest definitely would!!

    We booked a week vacation for our small family (two adults,...

    We booked a week vacation for our small family (two adults, a 10-year-old child, and a small dog), mainly with the intent of spending the time hiking in the mountains, and relaxing in nature. Miazzina was absolutely perfect for this! Our favorite hike was to Runchio - a tiny village accessible only by foot, a short hike through the picturesque mountains from Miazzina. The paths were well-maintained and, despite our relative inexperience with mountain hiking, easy enough for our family. The view of Lago Maggiore from the observation point at Runchio is magnificent and highly recommended! From Miazzina, you can also take a very short drive down the mountain to Verbania, where you can walk along Lago Maggiore (with spectacular lake and mountain views!), visit Villa Taranto botanical gardens, take a ferry to the Borromean islands (with yet another botanical garden). We've already booked our next stay, so we can do a few more things we missed on our trip!
