Secluded private garden location just minutes from the beach and the Gigante statue in the new town, nestled under old growth trees in a light filled greenhouse glass addition to an historical building. Sun Light yet private. Equipped with dishwasher and washer/dryer(a bonus for travelers) and the lack of towels. Bring extra charging stations. Outlets are sparing in each room. A great location - across the road from the beach the best village to choose to stay in - in my opinion as it has more room to move around freely when the day visitors come also. Quaint village in a series of 5 well connected villages. Easy access by train. Amazing walks betwen villages. Warm sea to swim in. Food became a bit one dimensional. Pizza and pasta. If you don’t eat pork and shell fish then you eat a mountain of carbohydrates. We longed for something fresh. Overall a fantastic place steeped in history and Italian culture. Well worth a visit. The sea is spectacular and the water is so refreshing. We loved the pebble Beach in the New Town where there was a free section so we could enjoy a swim after our hike or bike ride. Monterosso al Mare is kept very clean and we felt safe. Nice walking paths and many restaurants and shops to see. Even though it is a beach town, you don't see many children. It's more of a romantic adult getaway spot. Restaurants are small and most seating is on the patio. Many cannot accommodate strollers or parties greater than 4.Guest review byTerryUnited States
