The location is absolutely fantastic, just across the road from the public hot springs, which are wonderful for a midnight dip. The Locanda allows access to the thermal pools at the Mercure hotel at the top of the hill, another stunning structure that we enjoyed very much. The rooms are spotless and the building is freshly renovated, looking very smart. Breakfast is amazing with fresh cakes and croissants baked fresh (the apple cake was gorgeous). The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, the kind of people you want to have around when on holiday we had a wonderful stay.

Hotel is a great place to stay if you are looking for a place to get away from it all. The hotel is located in a beautiful setting and the staff is very friendly and helpful.     The property is so spacious, much more than I expected! We were attending a wedding nearby so did not get to spend much time there but it had everything we needed, and the tiny town has a lovely little wine shop serving food and drinks. The host does not speak English so if you have any questions please send them in advance, she was a lovely lady so I know this would make things a lot easier 😊 it has parking outside, and good aircon

    La Casa di Gigliola was perfect! It was very clean and comfortable and very convenient for the Monticiano wedding we attended. Our host was so warm and welcoming and even baked us the most delicious apple cake to welcome us. The property was very spacious and well equipped and the beds were very comfortable with beautiful linen. We loved our time there.

    Everything! The flat is so cozy and comfortable; beautifully decorated. It had everything one needs for a couple of days stay: coffee, glassware, kitchen equipment. The host was extremely nice and helpful. Easy check in and check out. The town of Monticiano is quiet but has everything: a supermarket, a bar, a farmacy.
