The apartment is spacious and modern, and everything was clean. Parking is directly in front of the house, and the owner lives above and is very attentive and helpful - once we hung our clothes over the garden railing, and in a few hours, she brought a drying rack to the apartment. Although she does not speak English at all, it worked well with a translator on a phone. The location is nice in a calm small village, but just a few minutes drive from shops, nice restaurants, and about 30 min to Pisa. Overall, it was a really nice stay and I think it will be even better once it gets more established, as we were one of the first customers.

The host was really helpful & went out of his way to make things go smoothly on check-in (despite a delayed arrival due to flight problems). I only stayed the one night, but everything was comfortable & I'm sure would be fine for longer stays. Excellent all round.

We were the first family who rent this Top Best Luxury Suits. We received a upgrade from the owner to beautyfull suits. All equipment is brand new an High Quality material has been used. Everything works how it should be and has the highest luxuries in the suits. Infinity swimmingpool with high quality water! The owners and personal are very friendly and kind. The give me the best service like we are the royal family who arrived.     Montopoli in Val d'Arno is a cute little hillside town, and the perfect place to stay to explore the surrounding areas...There is an amazing steakhouse in the village as well... We stayed here to go to the White Truffle festival in San Miniato, which was brilliant... We also ate in Pontedero at a brilliant Pizza restaurant Grano Vivo, with a very imaginative pizza menu, that didn't disappoint... You cant go wrong staying in this area...We had a lovely time...

    Seemed like a sleepy little Italian village and it was a nice break from other places that we were recently in that seemed to be so heavily geared for the tourist trade. The upper village stretches up and around the edge of a steep little valley with sweeping views off towards Pisa and is just lovely. We were there on a Wednesday in early May and there were not places open to eat for dinner in town and we had to travel about 10 minutes away to a place.

    Hotel is in an extremely small village off the tourist track. Old-world style decor in 14th-century building. Friendly staff. Breakfast is available at 5 euros/person. Wide selection of items in cold buffet served in a beautiful room with attentive service. Restaurant on site provides 10% discount to hotel guests for dinner. Our room was at the back and faced the hillside and sunsets. Rural area with horses and a small farm in the valley below us.

    The view from the balcony is simply stunning, you can see horses. The air is clean. The food provided by the hotel is very tasty, they brought it straight to our room. There is a pizzeria nearby, one of the most delicious I have tried. Good location if you plan to visit Florence or Pisa by train.

    The location was stunning - amazing view. Our room looked out over the valley and was beautiful. The hotel was quaint and quirky with amazing style. The hostess was super helpful and friendly. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was superb! Highly recommend staying here.
