Everything! The welcome (30minutes drive from Lecce, perfectly hidden just before the coastline, greatly renovated with top quality materials), the pool (perfect!), the suites (comfortable chique), the people (super nice), the breakfast (no buffet (great!!) but everything is available), the dinner, and most of all ... the super friendly chef who entertained us with his expertise and a cooking class! Too much great food! I would consider Corsano as my private Idaho!

The staff was really friendly and helpful, Sara was the receptionist who welcomed and assisted us through our entire stay and we are more than thankful for all. The suites (because we changed for one night) were beautiful and comfortable, with a nice view in a quiet yet cool and elegant part of the city. We would return for sure 🎈

This is a gem of a "Relais". Jacapo renovated his family palazzo into intimate spaces for guests to experience the humble grandeur of his Pugliese family. Each room is immaculately clean and elegantly styled in quiet pastels with matching soft textural tones. Airco was such a welcome treat. The centro storico is around the corner with molte strade of delicious restaurants ranging from simple pizzerias to macellerias of fine meats to a plethora of pesce places. You'll find the list of recommendations by the front desk - heed his advice! Breakfasts are simple yet high quality - cornetto (croissants), yoghurts, fresh fruits, pancakes, granola, juices, coffee, meats and cheeses. Make sure to passagiatta in the evening to discover the charm of this historic town. Nardó transforms itself into an elegant ballroom of architectural grande dames dancing in the spotlight. A very kind and helpful host who truly cares about his guests. During our stay, there was a parade in the city, and we accidentally parked in the wrong place. The owner immediately informed us about the situation and helped us find another safe parking spot. The property is located close to the Old Town, which was a great convenience. Everything matched the description. The price was appropriate for the quality. I definitely recommend it!

    Nardo is a very pretty small town in Puglia.

    Nardo is a very pretty small town in Puglia. The historic centre is a traffic restricted zone, but you can park free outside the zone and walk in in a few minutes. The main square is beautiful, with lovely cafes & restaurants and historic places to visit. Quieter than Lecce and much easier to visit/stay in Nardo. Easy location to drive to the main tourist sites in Puglia.

    The Antico Macelleria Fai was a fabulous meat restaurant. La Dispensa Dei Raccomand was also tasty. The city illuminated their architectural gems at night, and it created such a charming atmosphere.

    Nardo is a quaint town with many churches and historic sights to see. We unfortunately were there on Easter Monday and 99 percent of the town was closed, so we did not get to experience all it has to offer. One thing I noticed is their local made bread is different than other places in Italy. It’s more dense, hard and thinly sliced. It’s not my favorite. Walking around the historic center, I didn’t get of welcoming to outsiders . As people pass you in the street they don’t say “hello” or greet you. Sometimes they will look at you as if to say, “who are you and what are you doing here”. If you can put that aside, its churches are old and wonderful to see. There are several very nice historic hotels and good restaurants to experience and enjoy.

    The location was the best for us.

    The location was the best for us. Only a seven minute walk to our friends house. And ten minutes to the city center (from the apartment)inside the castle wall. The food was especially good! Not your usual tourist attraction. Be prepare for the daily "siesta". Most places will be closed for lunch. And reopen around 4pm. Even the streets are empty! But after the Rome Jubilee 2025, Nardo was the perfect place for us to relax and unwind. Thank you Simone, we appreciate your quick responses and checking in on us.

    Nardo` is a beautiful, friendly small city, with the full flavour of Puglia, but well away from the tourist crush of Lecce, Brindisi and Bari. The central historical area is especially beautiful and is in a pedestrian zone that is an absolute pleasure to walk around in. The rest of city has wide, tree-covered avenues, pleasant shopping streets, great markets and friendly people. And the beaches are only a few km down the road. Highly recommended.

    Nardo is a great place to stay if you want to be close to...

    Nardo is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the magnificent beaches of Porto Cesareo but far enough away from the general beach hotels/locations. It is small enough to know your way around and friendly enough to feel comfortable and safe. The piazza comes to life in the evenings as everyone meets up for drinks before dinner. Sit outside Cafe Parisi in the main square to have a pre-dinner drink (delicious Puglia wine) and to watch the world go by. Nardo is not overrun with tourists so you feel like you have discovered a secret place! There are coffee shops everywhere, fresh fruit and veg sold on the streets, local men's clubs and locals drinking and socialising everywhere. Parking is not a problem as you can park most places for free and walking to anywhere central takes less than 10 minutes. Having been all over Puglia these past 3 weeks, this place got our hearts! Beware of opening times - Nardo is deserted between 2-6 so you won't find anywhere to eat if you arrive late or want to eat early.

    The property was magical. Our room was a tall ceilinged palace room with a gorgeous bathroom (with a bath). Laura welcomed us and provided so much useful information, not only about Nardo but also about other towns we visited in Puglia.

    The location was superb. Just beside Piazza Salandra, the main square in Nardo. The host, Catherina, was really nice and sorted out my Italian adaptor and a blanket in a very short space of time.
