The accomodation is stunning. Perfect for the end of our honeymoon. We stayed four nights and were blown away by the customer service and how inviting everybody was. Having a car is a must as it gives you the freedom to travel around all the neighbouring areas. Would highly recommend the cooking class as well.

The staff was really friendly and helpful, Sara was the receptionist who welcomed and assisted us through our entire stay and we are more than thankful for all. The suites (because we changed for one night) were beautiful and comfortable, with a nice view in a quiet yet cool and elegant part of the city. We would return for sure 🎈

This is a gem of a "Relais". Jacapo renovated his family palazzo into intimate spaces for guests to experience the humble grandeur of his Pugliese family. Each room is immaculately clean and elegantly styled in quiet pastels with matching soft textural tones. Airco was such a welcome treat. The centro storico is around the corner with molte strade of delicious restaurants ranging from simple pizzerias to macellerias of fine meats to a plethora of pesce places. Breakfasts are simple yet high quality - cornetto (croissants), yoghurts, fresh fruits, pancakes, granola, juices, coffee, meats and cheeses. Make sure to passagiatta in the evening to discover the charm of this historic town. Nardó transforms itself into an elegant ballroom of architectural grande dames dancing in the spotlight. A very kind and helpful host who truly cares about his guests. During our stay, there was a parade in the city, and we accidentally parked in the wrong place. The owner immediately informed us about the situation and helped us find another safe parking spot. The property is located close to the Old Town, which was a great convenience. Everything matched the description. The price was appropriate for the quality. I definitely recommend it!

Nardo is a very pretty small town in Puglia.

Nardo is a very pretty small town in Puglia. The historic centre is a traffic restricted zone, but you can park free outside the zone and walk in in a few minutes. The main square is beautiful, with lovely cafes & restaurants and historic places to visit. Quieter than Lecce and much easier to visit/stay in Nardo. Easy location to drive to the main tourist sites in Puglia.

The Antico Macelleria Fai was a fabulous meat restaurant. La Dispensa Dei Raccomand was also tasty. The city illuminated their architectural gems at night, and it created such a charming atmosphere.

Nardo is a quaint town with many churches and historic sights to see. We unfortunately were there on Easter Monday and 99 percent of the town was closed, so we did not get to experience all it has to offer. One thing I noticed is their local made bread is different than other places in Italy. It’s more dense, hard and thinly sliced. It’s not my favorite. Walking around the historic center, I didn’t get of welcoming to outsiders . As people pass you in the street they don’t say “hello” or greet you. Sometimes they will look at you as if to say, “who are you and what are you doing here”. If you can put that aside, its churches are old and wonderful to see. There are several very nice historic hotels and good restaurants to experience and enjoy.

The location was the best for us.

The location was the best for us. Only a seven minute walk to our friends house. And ten minutes to the city center (from the apartment)inside the castle wall. The food was especially good! Not your usual tourist attraction. Be prepare for the daily "siesta". Most places will be closed for lunch. And reopen around 4pm. Even the streets are empty! But after the Rome Jubilee 2025, Nardo was the perfect place for us to relax and unwind. Thank you Simone, we appreciate your quick responses and checking in on us.

Nardo` is a beautiful, friendly small city, with the full flavour of Puglia, but well away from the tourist crush of Lecce, Brindisi and Bari. The central historical area is especially beautiful and is in a pedestrian zone that is an absolute pleasure to walk around in. The rest of city has wide, tree-covered avenues, pleasant shopping streets, great markets and friendly people. And the beaches are only a few km down the road. Highly recommended.

Unamura is a very nice residence located in an old building in heart of Nardo fully refurbished. Everything was perfect, cleanness, room facilities (room with a jacuzzi on the terrasse), intimacy, and staff very friendly, very responsive at all our requests. They waited us with a welcoming package, what was very nice from their side. We had breakfast included, which was brought to our room every morning. A breakfast so rich as we asked to remove some foods because we couldn't eat all and it would have been a pity to waste food.

Amazing place. The Casina combines rural charm with all the facilities for a great stay. It is five minutes drive to the beautiful baroque town of Nardo, 20-30 min. to Lecce and Gallipoli and close to some of the best beaches and coastal resorts with crystal clear waters and tasty local cuisine. Giuseppe and Simona are exceptional hosts, always ready to help. Simona makes very delicious local cakes and the breakfast served under the trees is a real delight. We definitely recommend that place and will be always happy to return.

We fell in love with Nardo! The village is so vibrant, with lots of history and life. Great location to explore all the Sallento beaches in just 15-20 minutes by car and citys like Lecce and Gallipoli. Very discreet and nice hosts. The apartment is comfortable and cute.
