    ortonova is really well situated about 30 minutes from la spezia central station giving easy access to 5 terre. The village itself is very pretty and comes alive at night, there are some very good restaurants near by. The convent itself is really calm and the rooms are very big and comfortable.

    We had a wonderful stay in Locanda Il Monastero. We were welcomed by a very kind Lady at the reception. The surroundings are beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. The parking place is very close to the hotel, but there is a small parking lot in front of the hotel, so you can park there while taking out the suitcases from your car. Our apartment was very clean and new. Higly recommended, we would like to come back.

    It was fantastic, Cristina and her family was super nice with us, they treated us that we were in a hotel. They always clead our bathroom day by day and our room as well. They even suprised us because one of our stops was here to celebrate our honeymoon. They are truly a super hospitable host! I can recommed it to everyone! <3

    the place is very quiet and peaceful host is super nice and available, very relaxed excellent breakfast, sweet and sour, fantastic fresh fruit mx (macedonia) tables on the patio of the hotel available at all times very spacious room on 3rd floor Vice good shampoo/soap provided
