Pimonte is a darling village located in the mountains making it easy to reach Naples or the Amalfi coastline. We wished we had allowed more time to experience the village. We did eat there once at a very lovely and elegant restaurant recommended by the host. Pimonte is a small town, nothing special, drivers are crazy here, streets are very very tigh, so all cars are damaged and scratched. If you go somewhere every day to travel and come back for the night, it is good. Great location as well, the town of Pimonte is small but with some excellent restaurants and very friendly locals. All major towns and hot spots are generally 1 hours drive by car at maximum. On their recommendation we ate the best pizza in the area. The Amalfi Coast has incredible landscapes - like in fairy tales. Pimonte is half an hour away from Amalfi, if you rent a scooter you can move easily without depending on public transport and benefit from affordable accommodation in comparison with the prices of accommodation in Amalfi or Positano.
