Great base eed a car but was local buses wounderful view the beech 20 yards away was black sand but busy with locals. We traced a lot and this was not far from main roads ( hint tolls so work them out before using them but are Penny's so are an annoyance rather than expensive) we traveled to Etan, Savoca (godfather wedding village and amazing views) Taormina (opera but a hint is to park as you get into the town and get local shuttle bus no parking in the town the road up is amazing ) and many more towns full of local flavour. So to confirm great Base plenty restaurants if you like seafood and pizza other food you need to look for but can be found.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom
