Keys are handed over in a key box. The contact with the landlord was smooth - the person is very nice and responds usually within few minutes. Checking in online also worked great. The apartment is located in a quiet area away from a busy road and has very good and clean facilities (two beedroms, two bathrooms, tarace with the lake view). We went there with the car so this was a perfect spot for trips to Streas, Arona or Angera. Although the place does not have its own parking plac within the property, there is a small car park one the road just beside the premiss. This is a local town road so it is not busy and the car is safe there too. Overall an excellent base for a family or two couples that lookf for a quiet place and want to be undisturbed. We can recommend it!!

Nice boutique hotel with just 12 rooms. It is bang on the lake promenade and the location couldn't be better . we were shown to our room quickly even though we arrived early. Neat well laid out approaches, polite staff . The room was like a suit with a nice large sitting room small balcony and attached kitchenette. The breakfast was decent and well served. We were vegetarians so the hotel too some special care to provide us with extra fruits, cheese etc. surely we will come back to this hotel again.

The included breakfast was great and offered us more food if we wanted it. The AC also worked well in our room and it was very comfortable and spacious. The staff are very cheerful and welcoming, and speak many languages (Italian, English French).

    It is a quiet residantial area.

    It is a quiet residantial area. You can enjoy and relax or either reach Milano in 1 hour time, or lovely Varese in half an hour. Special tip: Varese is a small town with some sights of the romans and sights from the 15th and 18th century. The city center offers a great variety of restaurants and shopping opportunities.

    Beautiful grounds, fantastic staff, and 5 star food worthy of any top class restaurant. Special mention to Andrea, he was very friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to return and use all the extra facilities we didn't have time to use on our short visit (pool, steam room etc). The room was in keeping with the rustic nature of the grounds and hotel and even though we didn't request a lake view we enjoyed lovely scenery overlooking the lake.

    Very comfortable apartment with good views, lovely balcony, air conditioning, hotel touches like breakfast snacks and shower gel, everything spotless, great location walking distance to beach and coffee/bar/restaurants, functional lobby area in the downstairs apartment, deck chairs to enjoy. Overall this apartment exceeded expectations.

    Everything! The hotel, the staff, the food, the location. It is Italian Lakes heaven. So much to see and do locally! On the way we went to Iseo & Como but Maggiore is so much better!
