Four nights in Rome, could have stayed longer. The food was fantastic. Everywhere you look is an ancient marvel. We booked ahead with Get Your Guide for a small group tour of the Coliseum, including the underground tour & the Roman Forum. The Sistine Chapel & Vatican Museums. The Pantheon was two minutes from our accommodation & no need to book. Seek out Giolitti for delicious pastries & great coffee. Great restaurants & delis, definitely a foodies paradise.

I first visited Rome as a college student four decades ago. This was my second trip and it's still a beautiful city, great to walk about and appreciate the architecture, visit key attractions and find respite with a bottle of wine while people watching. Mid September weather was great, an extension of summer with pleasant, mild evenings and very little rain. Unfortunately, all major sites are crowded and packed with tour groups. There's fine food everywhere, especially if you you're into freshly made pastas and of course, there are pizza joints if you need a quick bite.

A great, great city with vast historical relevance. A bit tiring for older people as well over 20000 steps a day with many inclines and not much seating around for recovery is needed to fully appreciate.

Rome during the Jubilee year is very busy making it hard to appreciate the sites. Popular sites are overly crowded with people elbow to elbow and many big tours everywhere. Beautiful city but stressful environment due to the crowds. Thankfully we did our homework before our trip and studied the sites so 2 days was enough to get to experience some of the major sites on our own. The other option would be to do costly small private tours but plan to spend more days to do so as those tours take more of your time.

Roma is a very bueatiful city full of many historical, religious, cultural, social and natural places. People are very nice and friendly. Cousine delicious. Anyway, you have to prepare yourself carefully before the visit to make the best use of your time. Some disadvantage, which you have to accept, so many visitors and crowded more tourist attraction. Palatyn is a special place where you can find a new very impressive look at Roma.

This was my first trip to Italy. And straight to Rome. I really wanted a place to sleep and relax that would not spoil the impression of the trip. Therefore, I chose the hotel for a long time and very carefully. I chose Amica Roma Guest House and I was right! The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance of the Vatican and the metro. Very cozy and comfortable room. Very tasty breakfasts! And a wonderful, sincere host Robert. Staying at this hotel only enhanced my wonderful feelings from a trip to magical Rome!

The building although found in the old city of Rome, was modern and aesthetically pleasing. The room was spacious and clean and we were also offered water which we could refill from the hotel itself - who doesn’t love a sustainable act? The best part was the breakfast - so delicious and mouthwatering, I’ve never tasted such good breakfast at a hotel in Italy! The food was so genuine and fresh - pure delicacies of Rome! Finally, Erica the receptionist was so sweet and welcoming on our arrival and departure.

I like this hotel because of its convenient location. It is so close to Termini station, so if you travel across Italy, this variant will be the best. The room was small but clean, good air conditioning, it was important for us because the temperature was +37+38 in August in Rome. The staff was friendly, they explained everything that we wanted to know. I think the breakfast was good, it was an ordinary European breakfast (coffee, juice, bread, cheese, jam, croissants).

We had a wonderful weekend in Rome! It's a family hotel with very friendly and helpful hostesses - Francesca and her mother. The hotel offers stylish and comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need: a fridge, a kettle, a TV. The bed is very comfortable, and the area is quiet. I especially want to mention the delicious homemade breakfast with eggs, yogurt, ham, pastries and coffee, which is quite diverse for Italy. I highly recommend staying at this hotel👍

The room was simply gorgeous - soo spacious exceptionally clean and truly 5 stars! It was luxury and the bed the best we had across our 4 weeks in Italy! The location was good - easy to get busses everywhere or walk! The suites are super close to many beautiful restaurants and the lady that welcomed us was delightful. We would stay here again in a heart beat! Oh and the view from our room across Rome was perfect!
