Petra Castle is an excellent hotel. The rooms are large and the service is excellent. It's located just outside Petra. By car it's only a few minutes away from the city center. The breakfast is a choice of both Jordanian and continental. The same counts for dinner: very good and a variety of Jordanian and 'western' dishes. The staff is excellent: friendly and offers great service. The Jordanian hospitality!

Ayman is an excellent host! Very helpful. You must ask him for tips regarding Petra, so definitely stay there BEFORE going to Petra. His tips totally made our day in Petra, like three times better. All clean, we were served good dinner and breakfast.

the space is very comfortable and if you have a car the location is super convenient as out of town but still close to Petra and Wadi Musa. The food is not included in the price but highly recommended: breakfast in the room was good, but for dinner we got invited into the host's home and they had cooked a proper feast for us, lots of different local food and everything was so tasty
