This was by far the best hotel in which I have stayed in my multiple trips to Iwate. Amazing customer service, overall cleanliness and amenities. The lobby workers were incredibly helpful and gave us all the information that we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the multiple options for pillows were a nice addition. Thank you so much!

Very short walk from Shiwachuo station. A wonderful and affordable alternative to hotels in Morioka or Hiraizumi. Our booking was for the room only, with a shared bathroom. Still, to our surprise, our room had a spacious toilet. There is also a Japanese bath in the hotel. The breakfast was included in the price, which is a big buffet with lots of variety. Great value for money. An oasis, a little gem.

The Inn keeper is a lovely lady who always looked after me. Coffee is flat! The hot bath was wonderful and you'll always have it for yourself! Toothbrushes, razors, shampoo, towels and the likes were provided. I also had fun browsing through the magazine corner. The Ryokan is approx. a 20 minutes walk from the station (personally I enjoyed that after the long train ride) and 7Eleven, and 5 mins from the nearest Lawson's. There were a few restaurants nearby that had good meals. All in all, I was looking for a moderately priced place to stay and found a friendly home. Thank you!

Space. It is a common comment how tiny Japanese rooms are. Daiwa Roynet Morioka has a surprisingly big room. Not only in terms of area, but also how the space is maximized. As a family of four we booked 2 twin rooms which gave us plenty of space and comfort. The facilities are excellent with heaps of extras including the wellness area, complimentary ice cream and ramen, convenient undercover parking and wonderful staff.

Great location close to the train station (about a 10 minute walk). Also located near tons of restaurants, a short walk away from a shopping center and an arcade. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, and a good size for the price. Really enjoyed our stay!
