The Southern part of Okinawa is neither pretty nor particularly pleasant.A chaotic collection of rarely attractive buildings, it is plagued by traffic jams, lack of public transportation, etc. Still, there are a few worthwhile archeological remains, some good restaurants, the old (mostly pedestrian) part of Naha is very pleasant.
