    I ejoyed my stay in the Kabuki theatre, where a well-knolweged guide gave a great commentary. The trip to Konpira San was interesting. You will enojoy the walk to the main builiding, the grand view of Kotohira, the souvenir stores, and the museum with old Japanese paintings and art works.

    Relaxed atmosphere, nice walking courses around the hotel. The locals are friendly. The people in the restaurants and shops cater to non-Japanese speaking visitors - menus are in English, and they are equipped with translation apps.

    I travel alone so I'm happy to walk lots. From Kotohira station it is maybe 2ks plus. A taxi might be ¥800, but I don't know. The walk is easy & interesting for me. The place is a Love Hotel so it is a check-in without seeing anyone. Just choose a room by pressing a red button & go to that room as it will be open. The room is huge, the bathroom is fantastic but a bit old. Spar bath but didn't use it. I'd be surprised if you were not satisfied with your room & its price..

    Beautiful traditional Japanese hotel in a very nice market close to a temple. The people were nice and very helpful, which of course is the rule in japan. I appreciated the free onsen, also with private rooms and the free ramen after 22.30.

    The location was a short walk from the JR station and the Kotohira shrine. The host was very friendly and welcoming, and spoke English really well. He had lots of suggestions for places to go and things to see.
