The proprietress of the ryokan was super friendly. The breakfasts and dinners were an amazing way to start and end the day. The ryokan is near the vine bridge and once you exit the ryokan, you see the lush greenery of Iya valley. The toilet was very clean, and the room was comfortable.

The hotel is a staircase away from the famous vine bridge. The host was very kind and helped us with what to do and what to eat. There is a nice common room with board games, manga and a retro nintendo console, as well as a nicely equipped kitchen. The two hot baths are also a plus to the stay.

We stayed for two nights and it was the best place we stayed at on our month long trip to Japan. as soon as we arrived, we felt welcomed and so well taken care of. the food was just beyond amazing, the building is so cool, the surrounding area is gorgeous, the staff is so personable, the sauna amazing, and we got to spend some time with the adorable rescue cats. this place is worth the trip out to Shikoku alone, but it's also very close to a lot of interesting places to see like the Iya valley vine bridge, Oboke gorge, a yokai museum, beautiful nature, onsens and more. we will most definitely be back :)

From the moment we arrived everything was great. Somebody parked our car and the luggage was already taken to our room. The front staff was really nice and helpful. The rooms looked way better then on the photos. It was super spacious and had everything we needed. We booked a private onsen, the spa is not super big but the views are amazing! Very convenient location, close to Oboke. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spotless, equipped with everything we needed (even a power strip!). A great choice for those who want to experience sleeping on futons. Excellent value for money — both breakfast and dinner were included, and the dinners were beautifully prepared and varied each day. The onsen was also very enjoyable and spacious. Overall, a truly pleasant and relaxing stay.
