Everything. This place was a dream and our first stop on Kurashiki. We had basically the whole mountain to ourselves. Almost no one drove past us at all. The owner is an angel and we really enjoyed hiking up the road behind the property into the forest. There's even some extremely high class cuisine nearby (but requires reservation). We spent even a lot of time just sitting on the verandah and watching the sunrise and sunset.

Everything was just perfect: size of room, cozy bed, super kind service, delicious breakfast, central location, free parking space - and you can use the breakfast area in the evening to chat, have a (free) drink or eat your dinner (which you brought or ordered external).
