Tokushima has a lot to offer those who want to get off the beaten track. To enjoy what Tokushima has to offer it helps to have a hire car - great food, very friendly people and an interesting view of Japanese life. Best for those who want to dig a bit deeper - it was our second trip to Japan. Great restaurants near JR Station Oysters and whirlpools at Naruto, mega donkey store, cable car, awesome food, round 1, aeon store and just hanging with locals. Lots more to do if you look. At the time of booking, there was only twin bed smoking room available for two people, so we booked it anyway even we don’t smoke. Tokushima is within short walking distance from the hotel, with many colourful flowers as you enter the park and it is scenic with few cherry blossoming along the river, which is clean, serene.
