We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room provided to us was excellent and we saw cleanliness in every details. The room size was very spacious with approriate bed arrangement, giving great view especially in the evening. Receptionist and all staff we met were friendly and very nice. Another thing is that, the hotel provides shuttle bus to the airport which was helpful for family bringing many luggages

FAQs about hotels in Tokyo

See It to Believe It!

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!

Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Centre near the waterfront, and savour the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.

Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.

For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Markets in the grounds sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.

Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.

I try to go to Japan at least once a year and Tokyo is part of that most of the time. There is a ton of things to do within walking distance, and lots of public transportation available. People are very friendly and most areas are safe even at night.

Enjoyed our stay, was able to go to the places we wanted to. However, not the best time to visit places with vistas of Mt. Fuji as weather was mostly rainy and cloudy during our stay. So the volcano was not visible.

There's so much to do.

There's so much to do. We've been multiple times and still need to go back to do more. The kids loved Teamlab Planets, Disneyland and Disneysea, Harry Potter studio tour, animal cafes, food and shopping. We spent a lot of time at Skytree because there's great shopping underneath. Getting around on the train is really easy using google maps.

We didn't spend long in Tokyo this trip, only a night at each end of the trip, however we have spent longer on earlier trips. Tokyo is an enormous busy place and there is much to see there, but try to avoid traveling on the metro at busy times if you can. You can find something to suit almost any interest in a big city like this.

I managed to achieve a couple of my objectives but missed out on one other experience I particularly wanted to do. Tokyo is a great city with so much to do and see. But you need to energy to get around a massive city with huge numbers of people in train stations that aren't easy to navigate. Their train system is amazing but takes a lot of effort to master - even the locals have problems.

The hotel is in a great location — just a couple of stops away from the busy, popular areas like Shinjuku and Shibuya, and within walking distance of Harajuku. What I loved was how peaceful the neighborhood felt, It was so nice to return to a calmer area after spending the day exploring the busier parts of the city. There’s also a beautiful park called Gyoen National Garden just a short walk from the hotel.

We paid $1.6k for 8 nights which was good value for money. Hotel was clean with daily cleaning (some hotels offer cleaning every third day). Basic toiletries offered and complimentary items available at the reception floor. Good location near metro quite central to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza and Harajuku, all approximately 20-30 mins away door to door.

The room was comfortable and the hotel is located well, opposite a park and a 20 minute walk from Shinjuku Station. A local underground station was only 5 minutes walk away, which had good connections. The hotel had a lovely bakery on the ground floor and you could buy coffees/drinks from the cafe. A good way to start the day.

The Hotel is really close to the trainstation. So you reach cities like Shibuya and Shinjuku in around 15-20 minutes. There are restaurants and convenience stores close by too. For the capsule itself, it was okay. Not too comfortable, but it had everything you needed.
