Wonderful views, great food, super cozy bedrooms and an incredible story behind. It's the perfect place to stay if you want to visit Song-Kul or have your first horse riding experience. The hosts were also very attentive to details and helped us plan our activities for the day!

Becktash and Gulu hosted us for an amazing 7 days. They welcomed us with open arms and we instantly felt apart of the family, felt like a home away from home. Their children were so friendly and lovely to speak to. Gulu made us amazing meals everyday. Becktash took us into the mountains on a 3 day horse treck to Son-Kul lake which was an amazing experience. We got to sleep in yurts during the treck and see some amazing places in the mountains. The family introduced us to people in the local village and kindly invited us to their neighbours wedding which was an amazing cultural experience. We had lots of laughs with this family, ate traditional Kyrgyz food, danced and shared our stories (mostly through google translate :)). Definitely recommend staying with this beautiful family!

The host family was very kind and welcomly, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The yurts were cozy and clean. There was even a chance to ride a horse, which made the experience even more special — the surrounding nature is absolutely stunning. The food was delicious and homemade, full of flavor and care. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Kyrgyzstan. Highly recommended!

Yurt camp Rahat was one of the best yurt camps we’ve stayed in. It is located near the lake, so the views are fantastic. They welcomed us with homemade products. The host family is very friendly, communicative, you can take a closer look into their daily routine. The kids are very cute and they made a whole place even warmer. Breakfast is also included in the price. They even took us horseriding to another nomad family (which gave us horsemilk). I highly recommend it, especially if you want to experience Kyrgyz nomad life and disconnect from everyday life.
