We were traveling around Issyk-Kul Lake with our three young children, searching for a quiet and beautiful place to stay. When I came across Taberik, I was initially hesitant — the place had no reviews, and traveling with kids, comfort is our top priority. But the location looked so stunning that I decided to take a chance. And I’m so glad I did — Taberik exceeded all our expectations. We were warmly greeted by Meyrambek, the owner, who welcomed us with tea and cookies and shared that they had just opened for their very first season. The entire place is brand new and built with great attention to detail. The setting is breathtaking: nestled at the foot of a mountain, surrounded by untouched nature, with yurts and cozy cabins scattered across the land. The cabins have heating, hot water, and high-speed internet via Starlink, which was a pleasant surprise given the remote location. The interiors are thoughtfully designed — wooden furniture, natural materials, spotless cleanliness, and a cozy atmosphere. You can immediately feel that a lot of care, resources, and investment went into creating this place. We passed by several other guesthouses along the way, and honestly, none of them came close to Taberik. It’s truly a different level of comfort and beauty. There’s also a stunning waterfall nearby, adding to the magic of the place. This location touched my heart so deeply that I couldn’t resist writing this review — and I don’t do that often. My wife and I had a relaxing three days at Farmer’s Pond. The family were very friendly and welcoming. the village is very beautiful and we enjoyed just walking around the countryside and village. The accommodation is clean and has everything you need. We ate a number of meals there and enjoyed them all the homemade jams are particularly delicious.

Nuray and her family and lovely and always trying to cover all your needs. Their home fullfils all expectations, with many small details base on local design. Great breakfast

Amazing and breathtaking place that has everything in it 🩷Jurta is in a quiet place in the woods but not far from the village. You are surrounded by nature, a flowing river, horses and cows grazing in the pastures in front of the yurt and we had a beautiful view of the red rocks. An absolutely peaceful place that will never be forgotten. The yurt itself is great, just the right size and everything you could wish for, the owners have really thought of everything- kitchenette, all the essentials- perfect equipment, comfortable chairs, comfortable bed, table, mirror- wow, wow, wow.The social load is extra outside the yurt and everything is great, hot water, flush toilet, really comfort that we did not expect 🙂 On arrival I got lunch and dinner in the back of the building in the village and breakfast was fine too. People are very nice and helpful, I highly recommend them to everyone. It's made with heart😍 We spent two wonderful days in the yurt, thank you :)

The kids came out to greet us right when we arrived and gave us almonds. The place is owned by a very nice family and the house really feels like a home. There is a nice garden with outside dining area. The breakfast was made from home made jams and home grown tees. Everyone was very kind. Very close to the lake where we could get a morning dip.
