Suncheon is an unassuming town that has quote a few things worth seeing and doing, some take up quite a bit of time due to the activity itself and/or travel to and from the required location (eg wetlands and Yonsan Observatory, and Nagan Eupseong Folk Village). It's also got a lovely river worth walking or cycling along and they have the World Garden Expo on at present. You may wish to go ziplining and/or on a cable car ride, so the Geumosan Mountain Zip Wire near Jingyo is well worth the journey. There were lockers, curtains around the beds, a hairdryer and plenty of towels. The guesthouse itself has a nice entrance hall were you can meet people, cook, eat. They offer tea, coffee and some cookies (even Belgian ones). It is very conveniently located near the station, in a calm area with restaurants and shops, and not far from the river where you can walk or jog.
