Value for money was exceptional and a really lovely surprise to access a beautiful swimming pool in exceptional setting. From the outside the hotel looked unexceptional but the complex was a teal suprise.

Sander and Tanoi are lovely and super helpful. A true Laotian experience off the grid. Food is great and affordable. We wished we stayed longer. Sunrise is astonishing. Just enjoy and relax. Tip: rent a bike in don det and spend at least 3 nights there. Bring some school supplies for children if you can :)

The best sunsets on the island! The hotel is conveniently located on the banks of the Mekong, not far from the pier. The room was modest, but clean - good bed linen and towels. excellent value for money. delicious breakfast with great coffee! Wonderful guest house in dondet island, the location of accommodation is facing to river and sunset view in our room have A/C, Hot shower and balcony with hammock where we can see the most beautiful sunset view, they have free pick up from the pier but we walk to see the island and it's not too far from pier to accommodation about 5 minutes and they have bicycles for rent 1 day 30,000 kip or 1.5 dollars, next to our accommodation there is good restaurant they serve good food same owner and they very friendly family thank you for your help and hope we meet you again

This was the best stay I’ve had while traveling down through Laos from Luang Prabang. Totally recommend it to everyone! Alex and Leymon are super friendly. they even helped arrange a ride to Don Det and were quick to reply to messages before I arrived. Especially, Leymon’s Asian food was amazing, honestly as good as what I’ve had in the actual countries. Can’t wait to try it again! Between meals we played cards, chatted, and hung out with their dogs and cats—such a chill vibe. The room was clean and comfy, with a soft bed, towels, and shampoo. The shower has an open ceiling, so you might notice it when it rains, but it didn’t bother me at all. Loved the whole experience!

Amazing stayed! The accommodation location is in sunset side, not far from the pier 5 minutes walk the guest house is far from the motor bike road too so it's more quiet for us, don't looking for luxury we highly recommend
