One of the most friendly hosts in all Sri Lanka. The bungalow is beautiful located and well taken care of. Everything was very clean. My girlfriend had birthday while the stay and the host arranged a surprise for her - really really nice. Would come here definitely again!

It is a very beautiful place to stay - Breakfast & coffee was amazing and included. Specially the staff were very friendly and did a great service. Special thanks to Tina & Elio for their hospitality! Don't miss out on the signature drinks they offer, my favourite is the coconut infused Negroni. I would definitely come back.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and immediately felt at home. The team is incredibly friendly and always ready to help to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Also the owner is personally involved and very attentive, which adds a warm, personal touch to the experience. There are plenty of facilities, and our kids never had a dull moment. The hotel is set on a hill, offering breathtaking views over the surrounding area. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. After our round trip through Sri Lanka, it was absolutely fantastic to take a break here and fully relax, just what we needed. In short: a fantastic experience that exceeded all our expectations. Beautiful modern property in a great location close to 2 fantastic beaches and a few minutes walk to Secret Beach. We met James (and Lou) the owner and their friends who happened to be staying at the same time. We were welcomed to a ‘family feel’ environment and told to help ourselves to drinks and to join in on the daily on site yoga. The pool area was really relaxing and beautiful with the pool being the perfect temperature. We felt more like we were leaving a few days with friends than staying at accommodation. We were given great recommendations of places close by to dine (and there were plenty). The chef (sadly I have forgotten his name) was so lovely and helpful and engaging. We really enjoyed our chats with him and he was obviously also a talented chef. Breakfast was always lovely and the timing of it very flexible. We really enjoyed our 3 days here.

It was really fun, the resort is beautifully designed. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the receptionist named Dwemini was smiling, welcoming and helped us with whatever we needed. I highly recommend the place.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Everything is new. We had a big, clean and comfortable room. The staff was really friendly to us and tried to make our stay as comfortable as it could be. The communication is running via WhatsApp. So no phones in the room. This is running perfectly. Whenever you you want something just write and they respond immediately. We highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Welligama.

I recently stayed at Swell Shacks for one night and had an amazing experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The design of the hotel is simply stunning and perfectly complements the beautiful environment. I loved waking up to the sound of the ocean and having the beach right in front of our room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The breakfast provided was delicious and offered a variety of options. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking sights. I had such a wonderful time that I will definitely be coming back in the future. I highly recommend Swell Shacks for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
