I booked this place at short notice in between stays arranged by my travel agent, but would have made it our base for 3 days in Tangalle area, if I had known about it earlier. It is a beautifully furnished former private home, a true boutique hotel. Everything was of the best. There is a large pool, with a shallow area for young children. It is set in extensive gardens, growing mainly cinnamon, coconut and pepper; the garden makes a pleasant walk, with the opportunity to admire many peacocks. The lunch we were served on arrival, the dinner and breakfast were all outstanding, well prepared and presented, generous and very reasonably priced. Beds are comfortable with bedside tables and reading lights. There are a number of outdoor areas to sit. Prabath and his colleagues were very attentive to our comfort and he was able to tell us the history of the house. I had an excellent massage from a therapist who is on call; I understand that the hotel is building an Ayurvedic centre on the grounds, and there is already a separate cabana which has been used for yoga sessions. It would be an excellent place for either a romantic escape or a yoga/spa/ meditation retreat. Highly recommended and full marks to Prabath’s management.

I stayed one night with my family during a two-day trip to southern Sri Lanka, and the experience was delightful. The villa is located just a few kilometers from Matara town, in a peaceful neighborhood, and is very well maintained. It can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests, making it ideal for families or groups. I had the pleasure of meeting both the manager and the property owner, who were exceptionally courteous and professional. At my request, they prepared a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast of string hoppers, chicken curry, dhal curry, and pol sambol, which was outstanding. I would gladly return for another stay.

Beautiful and quiet location with lots of nature around. The villa was spotless and had all the amenities you could need. We had booked 1 villa and the owner was generous enough and gave us a 2nd villa for the night. Would recommend staying here for anyone looking to relax

It is one of the most beautiful places I have found in Sri Lanka. This unique property is located 4 km from the Rock Temple and 15 km from Tangalle. Here you are in absolute peace and nature. This place is perfect for unwinding and relaxing. The animal kingdom in the immediate area is impressive. Small, curious moss-covered water turtles swim in the lake and water buffaloes can be seen in the distance. Across the lake a peacock has its nest in the tree and there are beautiful birds to observe. The villa is newly built and therefore the entire furnishings are new. There are huge glass fronts with curtains that you can open to be directly in nature. The food was absolutely fresh and tasted excellent. I can recommend fish curry and shrimp :-) The host was very friendly and helpful. I can absolutely recommend this place to enjoy the real nature and relax.

The villa is well laid out with all required facilities. It's clean and tidy. The owner was there to receive us and to handover the property. He is very plesent, friendly and corporative. We had full prevacy, comfort and all the freedom. The most liked pat was that the owner allowed our pet dog Labrador to stay with us. Our Labrador was the most enjoyed and thrilled out of all of us, as the dog enjoyed the garden freely by playing and jumping in to the pond in front of the property. The facilities are luxurious and entire property is equipped to satisfy our full expectations.

I really loved my stay at the yard! Really clean, comfortable and big room. I liked that it had a fan, i I liked that the room came with beach towels and I loved the location - just a four minute walk to the beach!
