We most liked that the owner is so passionate about his resort. He loved to show us around in his beautifull garden and everything in the resort is thought of and well functioning. The sister of the owner is an excellent cook and she makes a great Sri Lankan breakfast. Each day a bit different but always delicious and plentifull. Same holds for the optional dinner. Owner also has good deals and friendly and knowledgeable friends for excursions to the temples and Sigiriya and safari. We left to see other places but actually we didn't want to leave this little paradise.

The hotel is beautiful. Very clean. Lovely helpful happy staff. Big swimming pool. Lovely restaurant with good food. Large portions. Fish from the lake. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful lake. Wildlife everywhere. Elephants. Birds. Iguana. Mongoose. So much more. Large comfortable rooms. What more could you ask for. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

The pool was big and clean. The room was big and clean. The staff was incredibly supportive and friendly (e.g. when I left from them they offered me a free ride to the closest bus stop and stopped the right bus for me).

Rivonway Hotel was the perfect stop during my visit to Polonnaruwa. The service was excellent, the room was very clean, and the food was full of local flavor. Peaceful setting and great value. I highly recommend it to any traveler!

Our stay at Hotel Anaulundawa was exceptional, with special mention to the outstanding service by Nimal. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delightful, featuring excellent fruit choices. Ample parking space and a tranquil location added to the overall charm. Highly recommend!
