Everything about this hotel was 5 star, the beautiful comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff and delicious breakfast. They were happy to cater for our vegan diet. We had evenings out for dinner and one in the hotel, we should have had all in the hotel as it was so good. The hotel is a twenty mi Ute walk to Galle Fort I will be recommending this lovely hotel to all my friends and family. O

The hosts were very sweet and nice people. The communication upon arrival was great. The cabin is cute, upstairs of course it’s quite hot but there is an aircon! And breakfast was ridiculously delicious and way too much

We regret only staying one night in this wonderful hotel... We really enjoyed the beautiful setting, the swimming pool, the very clean and comfortable room and the delicious dinner and breakfast! The staff was really helpful as well. This was without doubt our best stay during our 3 week holiday in Sri Lanka!

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, offering complimentary delicious fruit snacks and fresh juices each night. The cosy and comfortable atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment, and the hotel's central location made it convenient to explore the fort and nearby beach. I can't express enough how satisfied I was with my stay. Thank you, Merchant Hotel, for creating the best memory of my Sri Lankan trip. Highly recommended!
