Wonderful staff, they upgraded us so that we could have adjacent rooms. The rooms are big, comfortable, clean, quiet, and great for sleeping because of dark curtains. The garden is amazing. You can see peacocks roaming, and enjoy the lovely swimming pool. The restaurant serves some yummy food.

I loved this place! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The owner was incredibly friendly, answered all my questions, and even offered me a welcome tea. The room and bike rental were very reasonably priced. My room was clean and comfortable, and I was even allowed to use the washing machine for free.

Located a few hundred meters off the main road and away from the city this is a serene and peaceful location for your stay in Anuradhapura. Cleanliness, staff and service are top notch. No room for any complaints. A prompt upgrade and change of room was provided as the Aircon in our room stopped working.

We were looking for a place for one night as we want to stop on our way to somewhere else. So happy to have found this place!! The room was better than expected, with hot water and ac. They also manage to get us dinner, as we were hungry she didn’t want to make us wait for her to cook. Breakfast was delicious! The place is quite, green… such a peace here! There’s water, kettle and coffee at rooms too.

Probably my favorite place to stay in my entire 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. Eventhough the rooms are nothing out of ordinary, the whole atmosphere of this place is something that makes me say such a bold statement. Also i would like to give kudos for an extraordinarly friendly and helpful staff, and the owner of the place, that has also built this whole complex from earth. I’ve spoke with him on couple occasions, and those conversations will definetely be something to remeber.

During my recent trip to Sri Lanka from Germany, I had the pleasure of staying at the Athyantha Resort in Anuradhapura, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Ambiance and Location: The resort's peaceful surroundings and picturesque views made it an ideal place to unwind after exploring the ancient city of Anuradhapura. Its proximity to major historical sites, such as the Ruwanwelisaya Stupa and the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, was a significant advantage, allowing us to easily visit these iconic landmarks. Accommodation: The rooms were spacious and comfortably furnished, providing all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. The cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms were impeccable, ensuring a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Service: The staff at Athyantha Resort were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
