We were welcomed with open arms. The apertment was giant and very clean. We had good functioning wifi and ac. The apartment was the cleanest one we had in Sri Lanka. We just stayed one night- so we unfortunately couldn't explore the beautiful garden they have! The owners even stayed up early at 05 am to cook a breakfast for us! They also recommended a safari guide who was very kind. It was all very unproblematic- we highly recommend!

The Shakshuka breakfast was delicious, also the pasta dinner ~ as good as in Italy. Bed so comfortable, setting very peaceful. Pool was perfect for cooling down in the middle of the day and I loved watching monkeys swing through the trees while reading on a pool lounger. The owner arranged a jeep safari for me at local Eco Park ~ it was awesome to see elephants up so close!

I loved this place! I stayed for 5 days. It was clean, and the pool was great. I ate at their restaurant once, and the food was very good. I needed to work online, and they made sure I had a good internet connection. It wasn’t super strong (nowhere in Sri Lanka is), but for the country, it was quite good and sufficient for working. I also had fresh water every day and was pleasantly surprised by the hot water pressure in the shower. Even though there weren’t many mosquitoes, they still provided an anti-mosquito product, which was a nice touch. But the best part? The owners. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Thank you so much!

Where to start? Alba, the hostess is such a kind soul. Her and her lovely dogs make the stay so funny. She is ready to serve you anything and everything that you want. This hotel is a real passion project and you can tell straight away that it has great character. The hot tub was our favourite part. Beers and nuts while chilling out in the tub in the evening is a great way to unwind after hiking the rocks and trying to spot elephants on the road outside her hotel. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Also her cooking is delicious!

Absolutely everything! There's so much accommodation to choose from in Sigiriya. We find it risky to not stay in home stays but we really fancied a pool. It did not disappoint. You can see both rocks from your balcony (not the pool), the breakfast was the best we've had in Sri Lanka and we've been here for 25 days already. The size of the bed was UNREAL and the comfiest we've had. Not too firm but just right! Tea and coffee with plenty of water in rooms. HOT WATER! We'd not had a hot shower for a few days, absolute bliss. The bathrooms are so spacious too. Everywhere was kept immaculate and they were even doing some more work to the place while we were there and it didn't once disrupt our stay. The restaurant is communal and we met other beautiful guests that we will remain friends with. A wonderful experience. We booked for one night, stayed two and the food was so good, on the second night after a long day we ate dinner here. Highly recommend and we'd come back again! Liz & Finn
