Very very tasty and healthy food

Nimal was really nice, hospitable and always willing go an extra mile, anything you need he will find it. He arrange a bicycle for free and went to see the temples around. Also companied me to see the sunset in his bike. He is a good man will take you to eat at local and cheap places. Thanks 😊

First: huge room as you see it , bed big and comfy, all you need is there. In addition the setting is perfect, far from main roads, it is quiet, no car noise, no pollution, immerse in a garden with Coco and banana plants, you wake up with birds singing. there are even the srilanka squirrels! Not sure the name.. Archeological park is far from town and huge, therefore you need a mean of transport anyway... But the most important thing were Ishani and her family. i was booking places for our holiday, when I saw this place and I decided that I was going to book all places run by local families, in order to know them more, the culture, the food. Also I know that srilanka people are very nice and I think they deserve to be known and to be rewarded directly. But I couldn't imagine we were going to feel so well here! They are all so incredibly nice. We had srilanka breakfast and dinner for the 3days prepared by them, great! I suggested them to set cooking classes! The big surprise was that they speak also Italian! So we chat in English and Italian! Leaving this morning was not easy, we felt at home. And I really wishto see them again. For sure we'll keep in touch. I don't think it'll be possible to match this great welcoming place during this trip.

Their willingness to assist with any request, from room service to arranging tours, truly exemplified their dedication to hospitality. Nestled amidst the tranquil jungle surroundings, the hotel provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The sight of peacocks, monkeys, and squirrels frolicking in the hotel garden added an extra layer of charm to the experience. One highlight of my stay was the early morning packed breakfast provided for our Wilpattu tour at 5:30 am. It was a thoughtful touch that allowed us to start our day of exploration on the right foot. Moreover, the presence of an organic coconut and mango grove on the premises added a delightful tropical touch to the experience, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and locally sourced produce. In conclusion, my time at Subaseth Villa was nothing short of extraordinary. From the warm hospitality to the breathtaking surroundings, every moment exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay.

If you are looking for the best hotel to stay for your trip to Wilpattu National Park, this is the place!! We had an amazing 3 nights here. The rooms are clean and big. Property is beautifull, and even has a swimming pool. The food here is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, we ate the same curry three nights in a row because it was so good. But the best part is the family that runs the place. They have the kindest and sweetest souls and really made our stay the best. We would love to come back and would HIGHLY recommend!! And they also have the sweetest dogs.

Very beautiful place . Calm and quite place. Little far from the city. But it is very nice because very calm and nice to relax. They offered free pick up and tours. The owner is licensed tourists guide . He gave his service good price .with his car. Good english speaking and very knowledgeable person . Kind heart and very helpful. We ate breakfast and dinner . Super nice home made foods . Good spicy . And they dropped us to our next place for fair price . Thank you so much for nice stay!!

Finding this place on Booking was pure luck — we’ve felt at home from start to finish. They served us delicious traditional dinners and breakfasts, and the attention was outstanding. Our host and her mother are truly wonderful people. She even showed us the river behind her house and took us to the bus station, helping us find the exact bus we needed. I recommend everyone coming to Anuradhapura to stay here. It’s been one of the most unique and beautiful experiences we’ve had while traveling. The kindest person we’ve met so far — thank you for everything, from the bottom of our hearts.
