Amazing wild, raw experience. Whole family loved it. Breakfasts were good, very tasty... I think piece of bread only would taste good there. It's so minimalistic you really feel like you don't need much to be happy. Very friendly owners. Highly recommend!

The best stay we had in our entire trip around Sri Lanka! Just can’t recommend it enough! Very clean room, big clean bathroom with hot shower and an amazing yard with lake view. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast, some of the best meals we had. Lovely host and very attentive with our needs. Hardworking staff - the results are impeccable. They also arranged a wonderful safari trip, we would like to also thank Indika for making sure we have an amazing experience! Thank you Saffron Lake Yala! 🥰

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Took us on a walk around the lake, organised a safari and kept our 2 year old constantly supplied with banana's. The room was also bigger than expected with and additional small room we didn't see in the photos with a fridge and kettle.

Very friendly hosts, we went to the morning safari and Sambadh (hope it’s the right spelling) cared for us all the time and even prepared lunch when we came back, food was really good.

Really cool experience to sleep from a tree house. No noises, only nature! We were offered with dinner (best rice and curry in Sri Lanka!) and free of charge. There was also breakfast included and they gave us free water too. Bed was very comfortable and staff very helpful and nice. Sunset from the tree house was incredible! Would really recommend everyone that wants to have a unique jungle experience to book this place!

Amazing place, living in a tree house was always my dream and it came true here. Room was super amazing with tree branches complimenting rooms interior, and dont make me even start on the view from balcony, its Amazing! Sometimes in the mornings you even can see elephants and other animals roaming around the fields of property, super piecefull and calming place. Nice resting area with BBQ grill, guy who runs the place also supper cool and helpfull and he always smiles. Highly advise!!!

This hotel was a perfect place for us to stay, when we visited the area for Yala safari. The pool has a beautiful view of the rice fields, the room was clean and had everything we needed, and the staff was very helpful. We would like to especially thank Bala, who was really kind to us and preperaed the most delicious food (one of the best curries we had in Sri Lanka!). If he ever hosts a cooking class, I’ll be there to attend it because it was amazing! Thanks for having us!

    Had a great stay at the hotel! Everything matched the booking price, and the staff were super helpful. The room was clean and cozy, with no issues at all. The location is a bit remote, but they offer a convenient ride for a fair price. Loved the peaceful atmosphere and had a good night's sleep. Would definitely recommend it for a relaxing escape!

    The tree house was lovely, offering stunning views and beautiful surroundings. The host was incredibly kind, which made the stay even more special. 🌳🌳 The hotel is located in the jungle and gives a strong sense of being in the forest. It’s a unique and thrilling experience you won’t find anywhere else.
