Recommend this hotel strongly - it is a quiet, cozy place with a unique local atmosphere. Personnel was proffesional and friendly, as we arrived late in the evening they arranged for us a delivery from a near by shop, which was lovely. The room was very clean, with a nice and calming view - as we were the only guests that day, we were offered a free room upgrade.

This place is perfection! From the warm welcome to our stunning suite to the food, the service - it does not get any better than this. The Uga Riva is at the same time a journey to the past and an expierience of contemporary luxury at its best. A wonderful retreat in the jungle a short drive from the airport. Perfect to relax after or before a long flight. The owners are happy to give valuable advice regarding money changing, SIM card, etc. Warm and personal atmosphere. Good service with tuktuk for local sightseeing in the Negombo area and with comfortable car with reliable driver for airport transfer and further travel.
