It was a pleasure to stay at Leel's Safari Cottage! Leel, Nameli and Leel's Mother are such heartful persons, we had a lot of fun together! The rooms are very new and have a nice view to the garden which is wunderful! Make the Safari Tour with Lee, he has very good knowledge, and gives his best to give you the most special experience. He showed us so many animals! Also the food his mother and wife are cooking is very delicious! His taxi driver sameera is also great.We highly recommend this place, and hope we come back soon! Everything at Amba Kola was exceptional - especially the people. Louise, Janik, and Janik’s whole family are the loveliest people you will meet. The food is fantastic - everything is locally sourced and prepared with the finest spices and lots of love (Janik’s mom is an award-winning cook by the way). At Amba Kola the hosts will go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. They took us around in their safari jeep to see the elephants and wildlife and we even went swimming in the canal! The room (and the whole property) are lovely with so many personal touches to it. Louise is an artist and her art is present all over the place! Also, the outdoor bathroom is unique. I showered in the dark under the stars - an experience like no other. All I can say is: Come to Amba Kola and see for yourself. These people deeply care for what they do and it shows in every aspect. You won’t be disappointed!

Very good value for the money. Friendly staff, fixed great breakfast and dinner, helped organize Safari and taxi to ella. Beautiful clean pool. Comfy spacious rooms, a/c, hot water. Would come again :)

Charming hotel set with view directly into the jungle. Very friendly atmosphere. The team working there really stood out in service. It felt like a family hotel where all guests were given extra attention. The hotel arranged the safari which was great. We got offered a guide on the tour which we can recommend- very knowledgeable. Highly recommended place !
