Impeccable service, from the warm welcome at the entrance to the attentive staff throughout our stay. Every detail was carefully considered, making it a truly unforgettable experience. The room was nice, had a nice comfortable sleep. The attention to cleanliness and comfort exceeded my expectations. Waking up to the sounds of birds was an added luxury you get here with natural surroundings. the unobstructed mountain view from my room was a perfect setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with all the essentials I needed—comfortable bed, fresh linens, and good air conditioning. What really stood out was the staff. They were polite, welcoming, and always ready to help with directions and local recommendations. The location was also very convenient. For the price I paid, the value was outstanding. I felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout my stay. Tucked away off the main road, this property is a true oasis. The friendliness and the attentiveness of the staff was second to none making every moment at Sama retreats memorable. Local food served was sensational with the chef kindly explaining the origins of each dish. The rooms are peaceful and tranquil, and while all the mod cons are available it does feel like you are stepping into another world. The beach is quiet and on most occasions the only others you will find are the local fisherman that are happy to offer a smile and a chat. We can’t wait to return.

We had the most wonderful stay at Darashana Beach Hotel - highly recommend to anyone staying in Kosgoda ! Absolutely stunning view of the beach from both our room and the breakfast terrace. The room is clean, equipped with AC, mosquito nets. Extensive breakfast with fresh fruit salad and the most delicious juices ! There is also a pool area, although we spent most of our time at the beach (1 minute away). The staff was truly so helpful and kind. Suitable for couples, families and groups of friends alike, wifi strong enough to work remotely for those who can never quite put down their laptops ;)

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere was cozy, everything was clean and comfortable — truly a place where you can relax and enjoy every moment. What made our experience especially memorable were the amazing hosts. The owner was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help. He went above and beyond to fulfill all our requests and personally organized fascinating excursions that added a special charm to our trip. It was clear that he genuinely cared about making our stay perfect, and thanks to his efforts, we felt completely at ease and well taken care of throughout the whole vacation. We would love to come back again and will definitely recommend this place to all our friends and family!

Everything was good. The staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms, villa and pool were very clean. The quality and quantity of the breakfasts were good, especially the Sri Lanka breakfast, but it was a bit spicy.

What a lovely place to stay. Rooms were very comfortable lovely sea view. Food was excellent and they were very happy to cater for our vegan diet. All the staff were friendly and helpful and helped to make it such a lovely place to stay. I will be recommending the Bombay Bicycle club to all my friends and family. It is a little out of town but they were happy to drive us wherever we wanted to go. If we are lucky enough to go back we will definitely stay there.

We enjoyed our stay at Pleasure Kosgoda hotel very much. Everything was perfect and relaxing. Very quiet and private place with very-very-very marvelous beach. 10 out of 10 for sure. What could be improved: wifi, the Internet works for “so-so” mark even when your devices show full connection
