Great homestay with just a few rooms. Rooms and bathroom were clean, enjoyed hearing the sound of the sea just outside our door. Location is conveniently near airport. The thing that stood out for us was the service and the food. The young man was extremely friendly and kind, served up great local food, explained the menu, checked in on us during and after our meals. We enjoyed our stay!

I had the pleasure of staying at The Nest Kandana, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, cozy, and beautifully designed, making it feel like a home away from home. located right on the beach, has an extremely clean swimming pool! My room was spacious and the hosts could not have more accommodating, will make whatever kind of food you prefer whether western or Sri Lankan. If you stay there is a local boat tour of the lagoon that is very interesting!

    We loved the down to earth hospitality of all the staff. Specially Dinesh, who stands out the crowd as a professional. Kind and jovial he knows how to row the boat gently and professionally. The chef did an excellent job as the restaurant boys. We can not thank them enough for a job well done.

    This is a lovely hotel, very modern with welcoming staff. It is much nicer than your average ‘close to the airport, the hotel. We could have happily stayed several nights. We were late for breakfast and the lovely staff accommodated this without a murmur and gave us fruit, omelette, coffee and toast - perfect. The room was a good size, very nice bathroom and comfy bed. The swimming pool is superb and appeared spotless.

    Lovely tranquil hotel with very attentive staff overlooking the beach. Best pool of our entire month in Sri Lanka. Food cooked fresh to order. Strong currents mean you are advised not to swim in the sea. Lovely rooms. Easy transfer to airport and close enough to do day trip to Colombo.

    Clean and friendly approach from management. Hotel manager Dennis was very helpful and friendly. The owner of the hotel is a lovely Japanese lady who is very friendly. It’s just next to the beach and nice place to relax.
