Nice place next to a lake you can swim in in the Summer. It has its own restaurant with local foods at reasonable prices. Breakfast is huge. Our room had terrace with lake view also.

Beautiful house in the lovely place. The host was very friendly and helped us with all our requests. Be sure to use the sauna and swim in the river - it's worth it! You can enjoy birdwatching near the house or watch the train that runs in Belarus near the border :) We want to thank Valdas one more time for a great weekend and we will definitely come here again! Super welcoming hosts. The cottage is decorated in a rustic/country style. The furniture and equipment is not new, some of it is old, but everything is functional. The feeling is as if you are visiting your Lithuanian friends and they are lodging you in their garden cottage. A note for colder seasons stay - the cottage is heated by a small wood stove - so a bit of an effort to operate it. But if you are not comfortable opearating it yourself, the host will do it for you. There is an outside terrace and a grill - the setting is not super picaresque, but perfectly functional.
