Berdorf is my favorite go-to location if I wanna go on a...
Berdorf is my favorite go-to location if I wanna go on a hiking weekend. It's about a three hour drive from where I live, so very doable for a weekendtrip. The entire Echternach region in beautiful (check out the Mullerthal Trail), but the region around Berdorf is especially beautiful. The forests around Berdorf all have those typical rock formations with stairs and ladders, little chasms etc that really make it so much more interesting than a normal forest hike. The town itself is very small and is really just meant to spend the night in between two days of heavy hiking.Guest review byFilipBelgium

It is in the center of Mullerthal Trail, it is quite convenient to the walking routes. we walked E1 from Berdorf to Echternach, very exciting and we took bus for free from Echtenach back to hotel.
