Amazing renovated mansion. Downstairs is the museum and on the second floor are rooms. Our room was very spacious. Overall you feel like you are staying at something exclusive. Outside is old forest with beautiful park, walking areas, river nearby. You can explore other old mansion buildings. There is lack of sound isolation due to the authentic doors inside premises, but we can't complain, all guests were quite and respecting the space.

Dubavi is a little house full of history on the edge of town, the people living there passed away and it’s still full of books, vinyls and even a piano belonging to the others. I couldn't find the property, so I called the hostel. After a moment the lady working there came to pick me up and drove me there. It's around 30 minutes away (on foot) from the city center, next to the Valmiermuiža property, which is really nice. There is a bus nearby. The room was very clean, there's a large kitchen. The showers are communal, but it wasn't a problem. It's mainly a worker hostel. Overall a good stay.

Located in the city centre, very cozy and clean rooms , friendly staff. I recommend going to Terbata restaurant in the first floor of the building , they have a variety of main courses, burgers , cocktails and drinks to choose from. I was so happy with my stay that I booked another night right away . Also a nice supper for me was free Netflix on the TV ;)
